Description
In the morning, I decided to find the Waxwings before work. It was dark out and snowing, so I knew I would be shooting in higher ISO than I normally like to. Shooting with a higher shutter speed also allowed the snowflakes to be frozen in place with the birds and I loved how this photo turned out. It feels like a true wintery scene with the vibrant colours of the Bohemian waxwings.
